The passage behind the artwork
Jesus’s invitation in Matthew 11 is for the weary and burdened. This portrait draws that promise of rest into a warm, quiet palette of ochre and cream, a gentle presence in the room where you pause at the end of the day.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Frequently asked questions
What will my canvas look and feel like?
Matte cotton-polyester canvas with a 1.25-inch support, finished in a Natural or Black pinewood outer frame. Sawtooth hanging hardware is attached. Sizes describe the canvas face; the outer frame adds to the overall dimensions.
The artwork is a digital print on matte canvas. The brushwork you see is printed detail, rather than raised paint.
How do I choose the right size?
Mark the width and height on your wall with painter’s tape, then step back. Smaller sizes suit a shelf or gallery wall; larger pieces make a focal point above furniture. Sizes refer to the canvas face, with a little extra width added by an outer frame.
When will my order arrive?
Your canvas is printed to order, then sent by standard US shipping. For this piece that is 9–13 business days from order to your door. Timing can vary by destination, production volume and holidays.
Shipping detailsWill the colors look like the artwork?
The artwork view shows the full palette. Your screen and the light in your room can make colors appear slightly different. If your print arrives with a strong color cast, missing detail or damage, please contact us with photos so we can help.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Your canvas arrives stretched over its pine support with hanging hardware included. Framed options also arrive with the outer frame fitted. Use a wall fixing suitable for your wall and canvas weight.

Wow. The photos don’t really do it justice. The artwork has so much depth and detail in person, and it’s honestly the first thing people notice when they walk into our living room.
